Naval Power’s CIWS Sustainment finance team is seeking a motivated finance professional to join our large DOD/FMS Long Term Contract (LTC), Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA and Spares & Repairs portfolio as a Finance Senior Supervisor (M3). This portfolio is composed of DOD/FMS contracts varying in size with the U.S. Navy as its primary customer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing direct reports, overseeing financial operations, team training, contract negotiations, collaboration and relationship building with internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being challenged. You must have the ability to think on their feet, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and interact with various levels of management. There will be an opportunity to improve your skills in financial planning, PRISM, estimates at complete and variance analysis and apply them to existing and future pursuits.

What You Will Do
  • Quarterly Development and oversight of Estimate at Completion (EACs).
  • Interface with Control Account Managers, Program Management, the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Analysis of program performance, IOT management, utilization of APEX & PRISM tools, and assisting with initial baseline for new awards.
  • Provide training and mentoring to team members.
  • Support review and forecast of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash forecast to Financial Planning.
  • Summary contract level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions.
  • Develop, utilize, and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team.
  • Ad-hoc request support in a fast-paced environment (RFI's, CFRs, ROMs, and proposal support).
Qualification You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting or a directly related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience using SAP (APEX, PRISM, and/or BW/AO), RTN PMX or similar financial systems.
  • Experience with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule) and EAC Process.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience setting up, and/or managing Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) relationships.
  • Experience leading estimate at complete (EAC) process.
  • A dedicated and positive attitude with the ability to meet critical deadlines and develop reports to drive solutions and continued process improvements.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Negotiation support experience.
  • DoD Industry experience.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
