Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is offering a full-time 10-week internship within the SRM division. Interns will tackle a mix of quantitative and qualitative assignments, including financial analysis, regulatory reviews, and process-improvement recommendations, with opportunities to present assessments to management.

Applicants are undergraduates graduating May 2027–May 2028 or current graduates in finance, accounting, economics, or business.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students with a May 2027–May 2028 graduation date or current graduate students in related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem solving, initiative, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete a variety of projects ranging from quantitative analysis to qualitative presentations and write-ups.
• Assist on bank examinations by analyzing financials and reviewing compliance with laws and regulations; evaluate factors for bank applications.
• Present oral and written findings to Federal Reserve Bank management.
