Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Finance Representative I - Cash Posting / Refunds on the South Campus. In this entry-level role, you will process, post, and balance payments to patient accounts, following defined procedures and collaborating with teams across Cincinnati Children's.

The position offers a hybrid schedule after training (four remote days, one office day per week) with in-person initial training.

• Maintain accurate information in departmental systems and collaborate with revenue cycle and financial teams.
• Complete quality checks and follow established procedures and deadlines.

Finance Representative I - Cash Posting / Refunds

Support accurate, timely financial operations that help patient accounts move forward. In this entry-level role, you will work with payment and account information, follow defined procedures, investigate exceptions, and collaborate with teams across Cincinnati Children's.

What You Will Do

• Process, post, and balance payments to accounts accurately, timely, and in the correct period.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0+ years of related work experience; no directly related experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Helpful experience includes hospital or medical revenue cycle work.
• Exposure to patient registration may be relevant when it includes meaningful insurance knowledge and account research.
• Banking, cash application, payment processing, accounts receivable, or reconciliation experience may translate well.
• Experience using Excel and working with detailed financial or account information.

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule after training, with four remote days and one office day each week.
• Initial training is conducted in person and may last up to two to three months depending on learning progress.
• Refunds team office day is Tuesday; cash posting team office day is Wednesday.
