Job summary

Dallas Baptist University’s Carter School of Business invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance to start August 2026 or January 2027. Rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate Finance courses, develop curricula, advise and mentor students, participate in committees, and support the Christian mission.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in business or related field.
• For undergraduate teaching: at least 18 graduate hours in Finance or a master's in Finance.
• For graduate teaching: terminal degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of higher education experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Finance courses.
• Develop and update course syllabi and curriculum.
• Advise and mentor students within the Finance program.
• Engage in scholarly activity and service, including committees.
• Collaborate with deans and chairs on teaching assignments and policy.
• Contribute to the university's Christian mission in teaching and research.
