Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP seeks a Product Management Senior Manager within the Finance Product Team to own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Finance workstreams, delivering data, reporting and analytics solutions that drive efficiency and informed decision-making.

You will partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering and Data teams to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans, manage backlogs, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in product management.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into executable product plans and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and modern product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle for designated Finance workstreams (planning, reporting, analytics, operations).
• Execute product roadmaps with milestones, delivering high-value initiatives.
• Lead discovery, requirements, development, testing, and deployment using iterative delivery practices.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into product initiatives.
• Prioritize product backlog based on value, priorities, and feasibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Analytics, and AI teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
