Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Finance Principal Specialist to support the Engineering IRAD team. You will forecast and analyze multi-million dollar portfolios, partnering with project managers and senior leaders to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities include leading annual operating and long-range planning, providing variance analyses, and coordinating with FP&A and SBUs to prioritize projects while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of related experience.
Experience with SAP and/or APEX and/or PRISM or similar financial system.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.

Responsibilities

Provide financial planning, analysis, and oversight for the IRAD portfolio across SBUs/Mission Areas/Directorates.
Forecast finance, perform variance analysis, validate trends, and prepare financial reporting for leadership meetings.
Lead AOP and LRP preparation with Engineering Execution Lead and FP&A teams; support process improvements and staffing projections.
