SoFi Tech Solutions seeks a Manager, Financial Operations to lead a high-performing team responsible for financial workflows, reconciliation activities, and data quality improvements. You will oversee both an established FinOps group and a newly integrated reconciliation team, ensuring accurate execution, strong controls, and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading financial operations, reconciliation, banking operations, or similar teams.
• Proven people leadership skills including coaching and performance management.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation workflows and controls.
• Hands‑on SQL skills to query data and investigate exceptions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify root causes.
• Strategic thinker with a process‑improvement mindset.
• Ability to balance hands‑on work with team leadership in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Operations team handling tickets, reporting, and workflows.
• Develop reconciliation specialists for Settlement reporting and related activities.
• Improve network data quality and issue resolution with cross‑functional partners.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Establish operating rhythms, SLAs, escalation paths, and quality expectations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and bank teams.
• Communicate status and coordinate timely issue resolution with clients and banks.
• Use SQL and data analysis to research issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Strengthen controls and documentation across reconciliation processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and increase automation.
• Monitor performance metrics and aging items for proactive management.
• Translate complex issues into business impacts and action plans.
• Help integrate new responsibilities into the broader Financial Operations function.
