Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finances, accounting, or related field with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and sponsored programs grant management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
• Decisiveness and strong problem solving within fiscal contexts.
• Proficiency with common office and database software.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Experience with budgeting, payroll operations, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Approve financial transactions at the school level, including transfers, contracts, and travel expenditures.
• Prepare annual budgets and review allocations with the Director for each fiscal year.
• Manage and oversee SNR accounts, including various endowed and gift accounts.
• Create and distribute internal funding and track expenditures.
• Ensure fiscal compliance and proper documentation for expenditures.
• Oversee payroll for project personnel and monitor cost reports.
• Review proposals in Cayuse and assist with budget justifications.
• Monitor subrecipient invoices and ensure final invoicing accuracy.
