Job summary

Coinbase is offering a 12-week Finance Operations Internship for Summer 2027 within the Institutional Operations Solutions (IOS) team. This remote-first program emphasizes building operational solutions and managing risk across regulatory requirements, with cross-functional collaboration across Product and Engineering.

You will work on real data-driven projects, analyze datasets, and present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in business, management, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability with capacity to identify second-order effects and streamline processes accordingly.
• Proven willingness to engage cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate in team settings.
• Familiarity with finance or banking concepts, with interest in crypto and digital assets.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IOS operations while identifying and managing operational risk across compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and risk management capabilities, recommending solutions backed by data analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build technology solutions that support institutional operations at scale.
• Analyze data sets and deliver recommendations grounded in sound quantitative reasoning.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on a group project solving a real business problem, presenting findings and solutions to the leadership team.
