Job summary

MBO Partners seeks a Finance Operations Analyst to support a leading professional services organization on a long-term contract. The role emphasizes organizational skills, strong communication, and advanced Excel abilities.

Key responsibilities include managing the finance inbox, collaborating with Engagement Managers, and providing finance, PMO, and administrative support across the business. Eligibility requires US work authorization and contractor status.

Qualifications

• > Strong background 3-5+ years of experience with PMO, finance operations, VMO, AP/AR, or business operations.
• > Strong Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• > Previous VMO (Vendor Management Office) experience is a plus.
• > Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred.
• > Previous experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or Zycus is a plus.

Duration: Approximately 9+ months, anticipated through mid-2027

Hours: 40 hours

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst to support a leading professional services organization on a long-term contract. This is a highly skills trainable opportunity for someone with strong organizational, communication, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the finance inbox and review/correct work packages.
• Partner with Engagement Managers on finance-related questions and operational needs.
• Provide general finance, PMO, and administrative support.
• Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong background 3-5+ years of experience with PMO, finance operations, VMO, AP/AR, or business operations.

Compensation:

The anticipated pay range for this opportunity is $38–$42 per hour. The range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation reasonably expected to be offered for this opportunity at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, engagement structure, and applicable work location within the range provided.
