WW Stores IPAT Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support with the planning, reporting and analysis for headcount and opex centrally for WW Stores business. This is a highly visible role supporting financial analyses that guide decision-making amount senior business leaders. They will partner with multiple teams across WW Stores, as well as Finance teams in other orgs, to provide insights, build mechanisms and tools to surface key analytics, dive deep into large sets of data.

This role requires a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, a track record of influencing business partners with data-driven decision making, and the ability to move fast. Communication and collaboration are key, as the individual will interact with numerous functions and teams within Amazon.

In addition to reporting on business results and long-term planning, this role provides an opportunity to partner with financial systems and other teams on data-driven projects driving product enhancements and financial insights for senior leadership. Experience in this team opens up several career opportunities across Amazon.


Key job responsibilities
- Supporting building financial models and KPIs to review monthly results, quarterly forecasts, and annual plans, make recommendations on process improvements that will help to deliver results, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
- Creating and maintaining insightful reports when explaining monthly and quarterly variances between actuals and plan.
- Deliver monthly financial close reporting deck and planning cycle reports. Uses financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets.
- Performing Ad hoc analysis and projects to support leadership initiatives
- Identifies and implements solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
- Partnering with other teams and business partners to produce standardize reporting and forecasting mechanisms. Driving process standardization, prioritizing improvements that increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
- Makes thoughtful time management decisions independently. Prioritizes work, resolves issues, meets deadlines, and seeks feedback from manager.
- Drives own self-development in the Finance Community: seeks opportunities to expand finance expertise. Participates in events, initiatives, and projects, then shares gained knowledge in and outside of your team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA, or CPA
- 7+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 7+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
