Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support Transportation Operations Management. You will own budgeting, financial performance, and controllership for your area, partnering with operations leaders to drive labor, spend, and performance decisions.

You will build and maintain financial models, perform forecasting and variance analysis, and dive deep into cost drivers to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 5+ years of finance or related analytics experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 6+ years identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, root cause, and escalation plans.
• 6+ years delivering financial models, analyses, and recommendations with measurable impact.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL and data mining/reporting tools; experience with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Controllership & Budget Ownership: Own the budget, financial performance, and controllership of your area.
• Business Leadership Partnership: Embedded finance partner to business leaders, advising on labor and spend decisions.
• Robust Modeling & Business Partnership: Build and maintain financial models to answer complex questions for senior management.
• Cost Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify cost drivers and opportunities to improve labor efficiency and reduce cost to serve.
