Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support Transportation Operations Management. This role will own the budget, drive financial performance, and partner with business leaders to influence labor, spend, and performance.

You will build and maintain financial models to answer key questions and deliver analyses to guide senior management decisions. You will deep-dive into cost drivers, partner with site leadership to improve labor efficiency, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
MBA, or CPA preferred.
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Controllership & Budget Ownership: Own the budget, financial performance, and controllership of your respective area. Manage spend against plan, investigate variances to root cause, and execute financial processes with the attention to detail and controls compliance the role demands.
Business Leadership Partnership: Serve as the embedded finance partner to your business leaders, earning a seat at the table as they run their yard operations. Build the trust that brings finance in early, and translate the financial picture into decisions on labor, spend, and performance.
Robust Modeling & Business Partnership: Build and maintain the financial models that answer difficult business questions and support senior management decisions. Deliver balanced analyses of financial and operational trade-offs to facilitate informed decision-making.
Cost Management & Continuous Improvement: Dive deep into the operational drivers behind cost to surface the "why" behind performance. Partner with site leadership to improve labor efficiency and reduce cost to serve, bringing a Think Big mindset to structural opportunities.

North America ATS is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to support Transportation Operations Management (TOM).
