RaySearch develops innovative software solutions to improve cancer care. We work in close collaboration with leading cancer centers worldwide to advance cancer treatment. Our US subsidiary, RaySearch Americas, is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team.

About The Role

As Finance Manager you will take full ownership of the financial operations for our US entity. You will ensure accurate monthly closings, manage tax reporting, and oversee all accounting processes, while acting as a key link to our Headquarters in Stockholm. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on work, giving you the chance to manage both the big picture and the operational details.

You will also lead and mentor a small team, supporting their development and ensuring best practices in finance and accounting. You will be a trusted partner to senior leadership and play a central role during audits, process improvements, and internal reporting projects.

This is a full-time home office position which is remote, though some travel to our office locations should be expected.

Your key responsibilities will include


  • Managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Leading tax calculations, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
  • Handling intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation submissions
  • Driving process improvements and supporting audits
  • Supervising and coaching finance team members


Your profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who enjoys both operational accounting work and team leadership. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and have strong analytical and communication skills. We believe that you have extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and business control from similar positions, preferably in an international environment or group structure.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Experience with one or more of the following systems is a plus: Salesforce, Maconomy and/or Cognos


We believe in fair and equitable compensation for all employees. The base salary range listed below represents the potential compensation for this role. The final offer will be determined based on job-related qualifications, internal compensation structures, and budget considerations. This range may be subject to change in the future.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $175,000 per year
