Job summary

Amazon’s AWS Finance team seeks a Finance Manager to partner with the AWS Supply Chain, consolidating financial information and driving cost efficiency across sites and products.

You will lead financial controllership, build models, dashboards, and long-range plans, and communicate insights to senior leadership. This role requires strong analytical ability and a track record of improving financial performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance controllership for one or more supply chain leaders, working directly with the AWS Supply Chain organization.
• Prepare and present financial summaries and business insights to Business and Finance Management.
• Develop and implement product-cost controllership models.
• Own site-level financial controllership for one or more supply chain operation locations.
• Build out and enhance financial models, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses.
• Develop and implement long range business planning.
• Work with big data and transforming it into insights and information.
• Lead automation efforts of critical processes.
• Confirming compliance with current contracts and controls, while developing new processes and controls to support the growing, global AWS business.
• Identifying and driving process improvements, including creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and templates.
• To support this rapidly growing business, you must be able to think strategically, perform dive deep analytics, and communicate effectively with internal and external senior leadership.
