Join the Selling Partner Experience (SPX) organization as a Finance Manager supporting the Seller Cost of Doing Business (SCODB) program. With millions of selling partners across over 20 countries relying on Amazon Marketplace, your financial insights will directly influence how we help sellers achieve profitable growth by reducing costs, complexity, and margin erosion.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of financial measurement and strategic decision-making, analyzing program performance, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and delivering recommendations that shape business planning and investment priorities. You'll work with ambiguous data, build scalable financial models, and collaborate with product and operations leaders to drive meaningful annualized seller cost savings. If you thrive on solving complex financial challenges and want to contribute to sustainable seller profitability—a critical driver of Amazon's long-term growth—this is your opportunity to make a difference.

Key job responsibilities
  • Conduct financial and variance analysis on key savings metrics to identify cost-reduction opportunities that drive seller profitability.
  • Build and maintain scalable financial models and reporting mechanisms that inform business planning, investment prioritization, and strategic decisions across the program.
  • Collaborate with product and operations leaders to achieve seller cost savings goals, providing data-driven insights and well-informed go/no‑go recommendations for new initiatives.
  • Dive deep into program inputs and performance data to deliver insightful recommendations on cost-saving measures and process enhancements to business partners.
  • Own financial reporting and controllership activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance while identifying opportunities to simplify and automate processes across teams.
A day in the life

You’ll start your day reviewing performance dashboards and conducting variance analysis on seller cost savings metrics, identifying trends and anomalies that require deeper investigation. You’ll collaborate with product managers to evaluate a new cost-reduction initiative, building financial models to assess return on investment and presenting your recommendations. Throughout the day, you partner with business and finance leaders to identify and resolve issues, refine measurement methodologies, and prepare insightful narratives for senior leadership. You’ll also dedicate time to automating routine reporting processes, ensuring your team can focus on high-value strategic analysis that drives program success.
