Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Finance Manager, Revenue Reporting to lead GTN forecasting, net sales analysis, and revenue recognition under US GAAP and IND AS.

You will own month-end close, journal entries, reserve analysis, and audits, while partnering with Pricing, Contracts, and Government Pricing to optimize revenue.

The role requires strong Excel and Power BI skills and experience with ERP systems; you will develop GTN dashboards and mentor offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in US Generics GTN revenue accounting and reporting in pharma.
• Direct experience with chargebacks, rebates, Medicaid, admin fees and returns.

Job Overview

The Finance Manager, Revenue Reporting role is a specialized pharmaceutical finance position focused on reporting gross sales and net revenue by forecasting, analyzing, and accounting for all commercial and government rebates and deductions.

Responsibilities

GTN Forecasting & Revenue Management

• Manage end-to-end GTN forecasting processes for generic pharmaceutical portfolios, and analyze gross sales to determine accurate net sales projections
• Build accrual models for Chargebacks, Medicaid, rebates, and Wholesaler fees, Returns reserve, and Distribution service agreements, Price protection
• Transactional Validation skills to mitigate revenue leakage and customer deduction management, and soft skills on dispute resolutions with customers.
• Skilled in analyzing customer agreements to mitigate revenue leakages and duplicate promotional discounts.
• Identifying process gaps and implementing internal controls, assessing current workflows, finding points of failure, and installing safeguards. Ensuring operational efficiency, mitigating risks, and preventing fraud

Financial Close & Reporting

• Lead month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reserve analysis
• Perform actual vs forecast variance analysis
• Support external/internal audit requirements and SOX controls
• CMO Products, Royalty calculations
• Ensure compliance with IND AS and US GAAP revenue recognition standards
• Evaluate financial impact of pricing strategies and contract changes
• Hands-on experience in monitoring and reviewing offshore team activities
• Monitoring customer deductions and ensuring the timely remittance from customers' OS Invoices

Analytics & Systems

• Develop GTN dashboards and KPI reporting
• Improve automation and forecasting accuracy
• Working exposure in ERP, Excel, Power BI, and GTN-related third-party platforms, preferably iContracts.
• Drive Automation in area assigned
• Work with respective stakeholders internal and external to close open issues

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements

• Experienced Finance Manager with expertise in US Generics Gross-to-Net (GTN) revenue accounting, forecasting, accrual management, and net sales reporting within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong background in managing complex GTN deductions, including chargebacks, rebates, Medicaid, admin fees, returns, and price protection programs.
• Skilled in variance analysis and cross-functional business partnering with Pricing, Contracts, Market Access, Commercial, and Government Pricing teams.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with peers and upper management.
• Outstanding Excel and data analytics skills.
• Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards continuous operational improvement.
• Strong financial, analytical, and technical accounting skills with the ability to provide effective financial analysis and insight of implications of operational trends.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Finance or Accounting (Finance Graduate, MBA, CMA, or CPA)
• 3+ years of direct experience in Revenue reporting role for a large/mid sized Pharmaceutical company
