Job Overview

Amazon is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our Operations Product Development (OPD) Central FP&A team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with executives and collaborate across various Product Finance and horizontal teams.

As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include driving financial analysis and reporting for key initiatives, developing complex financial models, providing strategic insights to support decision-making, ensuring compliance, communicating financial results to senior leadership, and identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and present financial summaries and insights to senior management
• Develop scalable financial processes and automation to support business needs
• Derive insights from large data sets and provide recommendations
• Track initiatives across multiple business functions
• Support forecast planning and month-end close processes
• Perform compliance controllership
• Lead ad hoc financial analyses and projects

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles
• 5+ years of experience in process improvements, automation, and analysis
• Experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation
• Proven impact through financial models and analysis on business outcomes
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
