The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong data collection and modeling capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The role also requires regular interaction with various business teams, providing reporting and business support for decision making and ability to influence decisions through effective logical reasoning and the presentation of alternatives/scenarios.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong data collection and modeling capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The role also requires regular interaction with various business teams, providing reporting and business support for decision making and ability to influence decisions through effective logical reasoning and the presentation of alternatives/scenarios.

Key job responsibilities

• Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
• Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
• Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
• Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
• Leading ad hoc financial analyses and supporting the financial planning process
• Coordinating and supporting planning and month-end close processes
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
• 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, or CPA
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
• 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
