Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) in Longmont, CO seeks a Finance Manager – Operations to partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Facilities. This role drives budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance analytics to influence productivity and strategy.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in FP&A/operations finance, strong modeling, and ERP/BI proficiency, with a track record of partnering with leadership to improve margins and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance/accounting/business/engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in FP&A/Operations Finance/Manufacturing Finance/Corporate Finance.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain finance.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance leader supporting Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Facilities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly business reviews for operational functions.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor productivity, inventory, gross margin, and operational performance.
• Develop financial models supporting capacity planning, automation, capital investments, and operational initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to improve working capital, operational efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
• Evaluate business cases and capital investments using ROI, NPV, and scenario analysis.
• Present financial insights, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Build scalable financial reporting, KPIs, and planning processes that support growth.

Summary

As Finance Manager – Operations, you will serve as the primary financial partner to our Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Facilities organizations. This is not a traditional finance role focused on reporting historical results. You will influence decisions related to manufacturing performance, productivity, inventory, capacity, capital investment, and operational strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Operations Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or Corporate Finance.
• Experience providing finance support for manufacturing and/or supply chain organizations.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP and BI tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience.
• Experience in a high-growth or private equity-backed company.

Location: Longmont, CO

Base Compensation: $116,000 - $164,000 is the projected annual base salary range for this role and will be determined on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.

Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
