Cassia, a nonprofit senior living organization, is hiring a Finance Manager to join our Home Office team in Edina, MN. This on-site role oversees daily accounting activities, financial reporting, budgets, and audits to ensure accurate financial operations across Cassia communities.

We seek detail-oriented professionals with 2+ years of accounting experience (or 4 years with an associate degree), strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience; or Associate degree with at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial spreadsheets, schedules, and analyses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and finance staff to support financial decision-making.
• Support audits, tax reporting, and other financial compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.
