Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead credit decisions, present financing options, and bridge gaps in the sales process during vehicle purchases.

You will work with customers and staff to build relationships, determine financing needs, and ensure compliant, transparent processes while achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience in automotive sales or finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and transition them from Sales to Finance during their vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customer financing needs and payment options based on a consultative interview process.
• Present a fully transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Process finance transactions and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers to create a base of referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Gain product knowledge to effectively help customers.
• Ensure all administrative processes are completed timely and in line with policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

• What are the requirements for the F&I Manager?

• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required

• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Experience and desire to work with technology

Compensation for this role is commission based and averages between $10,000 to $12,000/mo
