Schneider in Green Bay seeks a Finance Manager to lead a team of finance associates and provide analysis across a broad spectrum of operational and financial issues. The Finance Manager will contribute to annual planning and budgeting processes and give financial direction to various business segments.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in a multi-divisional corporation, and expertise with financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience in a multi-divisional corporation.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong financial systems and Microsoft Suite knowledge.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of finance associates.
• Provide financial support and expertise to controllers, department directors and operations leaders.
• Create journal entries, prepare reconciliations and complete intercompany accounting.
• Recommend and implement improvement plans involving operating procedures and policies.
• Analyze department expenditures and recommend cost reduction plans.
• Assist one or more business segments with financial planning, budgeting, reporting and forecasting.
• Develop decision support tools to enhance departments’ understanding of its cost structures and cost drivers.
