Job summary

Fortune Global 500 Consumer Electronics and Technology Company in Plano, TX seeks a Finance Manager II to lead Sales Deduction and MDF finance. You will review deduction spending, book accruals, perform month-end close, and manage SAP-related activities with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8–10 years in finance/accounting, SAP expertise, and strong Excel capabilities. 6-month contract with potential extension to full-time, on-site in Plano.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 8-10 years of experience.
• Experience in SAP.
• Experience in accounting and monthly closing.
• Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with other ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP system support on Sales Deduction (SD) and Marketing Development Fund (MDF), including project management, troubleshooting, master data management, and end-user training
• Review marketing and sales deduction investment activities
• Submit accurate accruals for investment activities during the month-end close
• Handle month-end closing activities and the closing report, including account reconciliation, sales deduction roll forward, and forecast variance
• Prepare managerial and internal-use reporting on marketing and sales deduction transactions
• Review the reasonableness of the marketing and sales deduction expense forecast and assist the forecast process
• Lead business owners and work closely with sales account and marketing teams to collect requirements, analyze information, and develop solutions consistent with business strategies
• Provide timely support for quarterly and yearly internal and external audits
• Process and validate customer and vendor payments related to sales and marketing programs
• Provide process training to the Marketing and Sales groups
• Manage marketing and sales deduction expense process improvement projects and initiatives by evaluating current business processes and identifying an improvement plan
