Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in the management of financial operations.
• Experience with budget planning or development preferred.
• Experience with local, state, or federal financial operations of a public entity preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages daily financial operations of HSCS non-regional accounting office.
• Sets performance measures and budgets, and provides financial reports to management.
• Oversees budget coordination and ensures expenditures stay within approved amounts.
• Ensures compliance with HHSC policies and provides training as needed.
