Job summary

Providence Finance is seeking a Finance Manager in a hybrid role to support local ministry leadership with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will develop analytical reports to improve efficiency and assist in budget targets, while serving as a resource for clinical service lines as needed.

This individual contributor position emphasizes financial stewardship and process improvements within Providence's patient-focused care mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years finance experience.
• CPA or HFMA or FACHE certification preferred upon hire.

Providence is calling for Finance Manager - Hybrid

The Finance Manager support local ministry/entity leadership teams and may serve on local leadership committees as assigned. Responsible for financial analysis and modeling in order to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs and to propose recommendations for achieving financial goals and budgetary targets. Additionally, to provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and to develop analytical reports to assist in enhancing process improvements and in increasing efficiencies. May also serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders. Other responsibilities may include development of financial plans, budgets, and support for month-end review of financial statements and other assistance as required.

This role is considered an individual contributor and does not manage staff.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5 or more years Finance experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Upon hire: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Or

• Upon hire: Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification Or

• Upon hire: Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE)

Salary Range by Location:

• California: All Southern California - Except Bakersfield: Min: $50.32, Max: $79.45

• Washington: Western: Min: $50.32, Max: $79.45
