Job summary

Sun Hill Properties, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager in Los Angeles, CA to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across hospitality and commercial real estate.

You will manage multi-entity close, support budgeting, and ensure GAAP compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, hospitality exposure, and strong Excel/GAAP skills, with CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, including supervisory role.
• Hotel/hospitality accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in GAAP and multi-entity accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across multiple entities.
• Review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, reclassifications, and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, cash management, and intercompany activity.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses with drivers.
• Coordinate external audits and tax engagements.
