Job summary

The French American Academy in Englewood seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, cash flow, and reporting for the Englewood Campus. The role partners with the Head of School and reports to the School Board to support growth and financial stability.

Key duties include managing tuition billings, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, benefits, audits, and board meeting preparation, while liaising with external partners such as the French Consulate and AEFE.

Responsibilities

• Billings: Tuition, Before & After Care, Enrichment, camps billings, Afterschool and private classes billing.
• A/R: Monitor weekly and follow up with FACTS; communicate with families.
• A/P: Post bills in QuickBooks; pay vendor/contractor bills within 30 days; coordinate with Jeremie.
• Cash Flow, Bank and Petty cash: Monitor daily cash flow; reconcile Wells Fargo and Amex accounts.
• Payroll and Benefits: Supervise hours, process payroll with EsmerPS; manage 401K with John Hancock; health insurance administration.
• Follow up and monitor the yearly budget; analyze discrepancies.
• Insurance: Workers' Compensation renewal and audit.
• Yearly non-profit audit and tax return with Tait Weller.
• Prepare and attend Monthly Board Meetings.
• Prepare and manage Finance Committee and all financial aid applications.
• Liaison with French Consulate and AEFE (payment of French scholarship).
• Follow up dashboard: Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P/L YTD, Budget usage.
• FAA TC billing and accounting.
• Fundraising: Participate in all events and monitor budgets.
