Job summary

Key job responsibilities

• Finance subject matter expert on Prime acquisition, retention, and engagement performance
• Quantify the financial impact of our product initiatives and experiments
• Work with the business team to build business models and value propositions and drive near-term and long-term forecasting
• Collaborate with and present to the senior leadership team on a regular basis
• Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
• Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field
• 5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experienceMBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
