Job summary

Summit Brands is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with the CFO, manage day-to-day financial operations, and drive data-driven decision making. The role focuses on FP&A analytics, budgeting, and reporting using Power BI and Velixo, with ERP experience in Acumatica.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in accounting and finance, CPA/CMA designation is a plus, and experience with KPI dashboards and standard cost analysis in a consumer packaged goods environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance; Master’s preferred; CPA/CMA a plus.
• Experience in accounting/financial roles with increasing responsibility.
• Proficient with Excel, pivot tables, data analytics and dashboard building; ERP experience with Acumatica.
• Power BI or similar for reporting; Velixo reporting experience.
• Strong FP&A analytics, modeling, and reporting capabilities; present complex data clearly.
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs; support external audits and internal controls.
• Ability to influence decisions using data; KPI-focused mindset.
• CPG industry experience across national accounts, D2C, and major retailers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO to oversee day-to-day finance operations and KPI reporting.
• Design and operate Power BI reports for complex modeling and margin analysis.
• Prepare reports on gross margin, pricing, standard costs, and other key metrics.
• Support annual strategic planning and budgeting; reconcile ledgers and cash flow.
• Generate ad-hoc finance reports for reviews and customer programs.
• Present financial findings to leadership to drive data-driven decisions.
• Assist with month-end close, G/L entries, and account reconciliations.
• Develop SOPs and manage external audit testing for internal controls.
• Oversee inventory valuation, PPV analysis, and cost roll processes.
