Job summary

WakeMed Foundation in Raleigh, NC seeks a capable financial professional to manage reporting, budgeting, analysis, projections and balance sheet reconciliations for the Foundation and serve as its financial liaison.

This role supports the annual 990 filing, coordinates funding requests and external grants, conducts vendor analyses and assists with fundraising projects including the annual gala, attending Foundation events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3 years accounting/finance experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and projections for the WakeMed Foundation.
• Serve as financial liaison for the Foundation and its leaders.
• Support the annual 990 filing and related software systems.
• Coordinate funding requests and grants with the Foundation team and Grant Administration.
• Conduct vendor analyses and assist with policy reviews.
• Track major campaigns and support fundraising events such as the annual gala.
• Attend Foundation sponsored events as necessary.
