Job summary

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking an Accounting and Finance Manager to lead the Finance Department across our campuses.

You will partner with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliant financial operations. The role involves supervising the finance team, coordinating monthly closes, managing payroll and AP/AR, and supporting budgets and audits for both South and North Campuses as the school grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 1-3 years accounting/finance experience with leadership preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit/educational or multi-entity accounting is preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Finance team and daily operations.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Coordinate monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage purchasing, budget monitoring, and financial analyses for multiple campuses.
• Assist CFO with monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and audits.
