Job summary

Big Watt Digital, LLC is seeking a senior finance leader to own energy planning, forecasting and capital allocation for a portfolio of energy infrastructure projects. You will build models, drive scenario analysis and partner with engineering and development teams to align economics with project milestones.

Responsibilities include integrating COD, procurement spend and performance into forecasts, establishing KPIs, and communicating complex energy economics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, project finance, infrastructure investing, energy finance or related field.
• Excel skills rated 8/10 and AI usage for analysis and modeling 8/10.
• Experience in power generation, utilities or energy infrastructure.
• Able to translate complex systems into financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own Energy & Power planning, forecasting, performance management and variance analysis.
• Integrate development milestones, procurement, COD and operating performance into forecasts.
• Establish KPIs linking technical performance to economics.
• Partner with Accounting and Treasury to align forecasts and liquidity.
• Build scalable financial models, reporting and automation for portfolio growth.
• Translate market uncertainty into investment and operating decisions.
