Job summary

Amazon Web Services Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support EC2 Core businesses. You will deliver financial reports and drive profitability, pricing decisions, and efficiency improvements in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Role requires strong modeling, cross-functional leadership, and clear communication with senior leaders. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GM teams to inform strategy and forecast outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.
• MBA, or CMA.
• 6+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience.
• Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business.
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), or experience using Oracle.
• Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving, or experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results]
• MBA, or CMA
• 6+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
