SC Johnson & Son, Inc. is seeking an FP&A Manager to support a business segment with financial insights and robust controls. You will partner with brand teams to shape budgets, forecasts and strategic plans, influencing key business decisions across functions.

You will provide analytical support, manage working capital, and lead profitability initiatives while ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong governance. Hybrid work arrangement offered in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• 7+ years of directly related FP&A experience or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with brand management to prepare budgets and forecasts aligned to sales, share and profit targets.
• Perform complex finance activities including monthly and ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Ensure accuracy of monthly and year-end financial statements.
• Provide ROI analytics and trade-off analyses of marketing spend.
• Advise brand management with analyses of marketing programs and new product launches.
• Manage Net Working Capital via Sales and Operational Planning support.
• Drive profit improvements through cross-functional cost-saving initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll bring your FP&A experience to support a team, business segment, or product portfolio where your insights help shape better business decisions.

You’ll align to a category or team and provide decision support, financial analysis, and strong financial controls that help the business operate with clarity and confidence.

In this role, you’ll use your subject matter expertise and consultative business acumen to serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board for partners across the business. You’ll also play a direct role in shaping business plans and influencing key decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Collaborate with brand management to prepare budgets and forecasts that achieve sales, share and profit targets, while also anticipating problems and developing contingency plans, identifying risks/opportunities, and recommending changes in support of strategy.
• Perform complex finance activities, including monthly and ad hoc financial statement analysis and commentary, pricing analytics, and scenario modeling.
• Ensure accuracy of monthly and year-end financial statements.
• Provide ROI analytics and trade-off analysis of marketing spend.
• Act as a key business advisor to brand management, providing analyses of planned and executed marketing programs as well as new product launches.
• Manage Net Working Capital (NWC) by facilitating the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process.
• Drive Delivered Profit improvement by working cross-functionally to identify and implement cost savings projects

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant business degree and 7+ years of directly related experience, OR Master's degree with 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

• Experience in cost management, sales finance, exposure to marketing/strategic business issues, and analytical projects
• Fundamental accounting knowledge.
• Demonstrated analytical skillset (i.e., complex financial analysis, discounted cash flow/project valuation) and financial statement management (P&L analysis and modeling).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, combined with ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization.
• Business Planning and Continuity (BPC), SAP.
• Ability to implement and monitor internal controls and develop process improvements.
• Ability to adapt to different systems and technology.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage concurrent projects.
• Influential leadership to effectively collaborate cross functionally to achieve objectives and produce results.

• Positions may be located at an office located in Racine or Mt. Pleasant, WI.
• Full Time, Mon - Fri regular business hours
• Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
• This role is NOT eligible for domestic relocation
