Job summary

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the Operations Product Development (OPD) Finance team, owning the BOM cost story for key product lines. This role partners with Product Management, Operations and Engineering to explain what moves component cost and to align cross-functional decisions that move the business fast.

You will build models, deliver variance packages, and create scalable, automated cost data processes.

Qualifications

5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
5+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
5+ years building financial reports and data sets.
5+ years dissecting financial data to inform strategy.
4+ years leading cross-functional initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or related analytical field.

Responsibilities

Lead BOM cost variance analysis across quarterly guidance and annual operating plan cycles, translating findings for senior leadership.
Lead quarterly review meetings with senior leadership across business units on cost strategy.
Analyze large data sets to identify trends and surface cost optimization opportunities.
Build cross-functional partnerships to drive alignment and evaluate long-term financial performance.
Lead ad hoc deep dives on memory and component cost and prepare variance packages for leadership.
Build and own scalable, automated processes for cost data extraction and commentary generation.
