Job summary

Amazon in Irving, TX is hiring a Finance Manager to lead the automation strategy for Sub Same-Day (SSD) Finance. This role owns the SSD Reporting and Governance committee, drives the end-to-end automation roadmap, and partners with cross-functional teams to build in-house tools that replace manual processes at scale.

The position emphasizes turning complex financial data into actionable decisions, managing data infrastructure, and deploying AI-native planning to support forecasting and variance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance and accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or related analytical field.
• MBA or CPA preferred; strong problem solving and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SSD Finance automation roadmap end-to-end with strategy and metrics.
• Lead the SSD Reporting and Governance committee and set intake standards.
• Partner with SSD BIE and Global Automation teams to build in-house tools that replace manual processes at scale.
• Establish foundational data infrastructure with a single source of truth for reporting.
• Deploy AI-native planning capabilities to auto-generate narratives and variance commentary across cycles.
