We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the financial strategy of our business. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, forecasting future performance, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and growth of a startup at a pivotal stage.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance. Provide detailed analysis and insights into financial metrics and KPIs.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts. Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing recommendations.
  3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial data.
  4. Strategic Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product development, and M&A activities.
  5. Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities and capital projects. Provide financial insights to support investment decisions.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Tech, and Product Management, to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA, or CFA
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)
