Job summary

CFS is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the accounting and finance functions across the organization, reporting directly to the CEO with visibility and influence on financial strategy and systems.

This onsite role on the South Shore of Boston offers a salary range of $165,000–$185,000 plus bonus and the chance to build and scale an internal accounting team as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Must have strong accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Mortgage lending, mortgage brokerage, or banking industry experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical background.
• Experience with sophisticated ERP/accounting systems.
• Technology-forward mindset with interest in automation and process improvement.
• Dynamic, proactive personality in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's accounting and finance functions.
• Own financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and expansion.
• Analyze financial performance across locations and operations.
• Identify cost savings and profitability-improvement opportunities.
• Improve accounting processes, systems, reporting, and technology.
• Support a high-volume lending environment and improve transaction/closing processes.
• Build out the internal accounting team as the organization grows.
