Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Experience supporting multi-unit operations strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, labor, cost controls, and operational KPIs.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or other BI experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into practical recommendations for non-finance leaders.

Our client, a growing multi-unit organization, is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to serve as a key financial partner to operations and senior leadership. This highly visible role will support over 100 locations and use financial and operational data to improve profitability, strengthen cost controls, and drive better business decisions.

The Finance Operations Manager will analyze location-level performance, develop actionable reporting and dashboards, partner with field leadership on financial results, and help identify opportunities to improve margins across labor, cost of goods, and controllable expenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial and operational reporting across > 100 locations
• Analyze P&L performance, trends, variances, and key operating metrics
• Develop dashboards and scorecards that provide actionable insights to leadership
• Partner with operations leaders to improve labor, cost controls, and overall profitability
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting activities
• Evaluate performance related to new locations, capital investments, and operational initiatives
• Partner with Accounting, Payroll, HR, and Supply Chain on financial analysis and process improvements
• Prepare executive-level financial summaries and recommendations

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or financial analysis
• Experience supporting a multi-unit restaurant, retail, hospitality, franchise, or similar field-based operation strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, labor, cost controls, and operational KPIs
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or other business intelligence experience is a plus
• Ability to translate complex financial information into practical recommendations for non-finance leaders
