Job summary

Proactive Talent Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial activities of the business unit and contribute to strategic financial planning. The role reports to the Group CFO and requires strong GAAP knowledge.

You will manage monthly close, dashboards, budgets, and audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Fluent in French and English, with advanced Excel and experience in Netsuite or Sage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or professional certification at final stage required.
• Proven experience in an equivalent finance function.
• Healthcare industry experience is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong accounting reporting and financial analysis skills.
• Attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Proficient with Netsuite and Sage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular accounting activities for the business unit, including general ledger and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and support month-end close.
• Support year-end closing activities and treasury planning.
• Assist CFO with budget preparation, monitoring and strategic projects.
• Prepare financial data analytics and management dashboards.
• Ensure timely financial reporting to health authorities and board packs.
• Monitor trends and variances for Executive review.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be overseeing the financial activities of the business unit. He/she will play a crucial role in the financial strategy and operations of the Company. The Finance Manager will report to the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Lead the regular accounting activities of the business unit, namely:
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Be responsible of the financial planning cycle (Treasury Management, Budget Control, Account Consolidation, Dashboards. Etc.)of the business unit under responsibility.
• Participate in internal and external audit assignments of the organisation.

Strategy

• Assist the CFO in the organisation of:
  • Budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Strategic projects and reporting.
  • Financial data analytics.

Reporting

• Ensure that all financial reporting is within deadlines, namely:
  • Monthly management accounts and operations dashboards.
  • Quarterly and annual management accounts and Group Reporting Packs.
  • Yearly budgets, board packs and Group Reporting Packs.
  • Any regular reporting to health authorities.
• Monitor and analyse trends and variances for communication to Executive team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) at the final stage is required.
• Proven experience in an equivalent function.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry would be an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Excellent accounting reporting and financial analysis skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail with sound judgement.
• Awareness of business trends.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Netsuite and Sage.
