EgyBell Outsourcing and Payroll Solutions is hiring a Finance Manager for a leading energy company operating across Africa. You will lead finance planning, strategy, accounting, reporting, and governance, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance/Economics with a CA advantage, 15+ years of finance leadership, strong IFRS knowledge, and experience with SAP, Oracle, JDE, HFM, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, strategy, performance management, and business decision support.
• Support Country Leadership Team and build relationships across Finance, B2B, S&D, Retail & Lubricants.
• Lead OU planning, targets, Latest Estimates, and the Operational Plan.
• Ensure accurate financial data, KPIs, and variance analysis for volume, margin, OPEX, CAPEX, and WC.
• Support Quarterly Business Reviews, project reviews, customer portfolio, and WC management.
• Oversee pricing, contracts, and financial risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Finance Standards, ERP processes, controls, and governance.
• Support internal/external audits and Business Control Reviews.
• Ensure timely IFRS, statutory, tax reporting and year-end audits.
• Maintain strong accounting and IFRS capabilities within the Finance team.

EgyBell is hiring a Finance Manager for a leading energy company across Africa, providing fuel distribution and energy solutions.

Job Purpose

• Lead Finance across planning, strategy, accounting, reporting, assurance, economics, and projects.
• Act as the interface between the business and Finance Controllers, Tax, Treasury, and Portfolio teams.
• Drive business performance through effective financial policies, controls, and business partnering.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal and external governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, strategy, performance management, and business decision support.
• Support the Country Leadership Team and build strong relationships across Finance, B2B, S&D, Retail & Lubricants.
• Lead OU planning, targets, Latest Estimates, and the Operational Plan.
• Ensure accurate financial data, management information, KPIs, and variance analysis covering volume, margin, OPEX, CAPEX, and working capital.
• Support Quarterly Business Reviews, project reviews, customer portfolio, and working capital management.
• Oversee pricing, sales and purchase contracts, and commercial/financial risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Finance Standards, ERP processes, controls, and governance requirements.
• Support internal/external audits and Business Control Reviews.
• Ensure timely and accurate IFRS Group, statutory, tax, and transactional reporting.
• Lead external year-end audits and maintain strong accounting and IFRS capabilities within the Finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics with a recognized professional accounting qualification; CA is an advantage.
• 15+ years of Finance experience, including senior Finance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial analysis, planning, project management, and financial flows.
• Strong communication, influencing, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and able to work under pressure and in virtual/team environments.
• Broad knowledge of Finance processes, including T&R.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Oracle, JDE, HFM, and Microsoft Office, including SAP implementation experience.
• International experience and mindset.
