Job summary

Feyer Ford of Edenton seeks an experienced Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead the department, guiding customers through financing options, insurance products, and compliant processes.

You will meet with customers, work with banks for favorable terms, present extended warranties and service contracts, and process all paperwork to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance while supporting the sales team to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 2 Years F&I experience preferred.
• Prior Insurance sales.
• Prior car sales experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Self-motivation.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Clean driving record & drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize the finance department's profitability and product penetration.
• Track portfolio with lenders.
• Review and inspect the department's paperwork flow to ensure timely turnaround on all deals.
• Ensure all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals.
• Be an example of professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service.
• Work closely with the sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods.

Feyer Ford of Edentonis seeking an experienced and customer-focused Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. The F&I Manager will be responsible for managing the financial and insurance aspects of vehicle sales, ensuring that customers receive the best possible financing and protection plans while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

More about the role

• Meet with customers to discuss their financing and insurance options, providing clear and accurate information to help them make informed decisions.
• Work with financial institutions to secure the best possible financing terms for customers, including interest rates, loan terms, and payment plans.
• Present and explain a variety of insurance products, including extended warranties, gap insurance, and service contracts, tailored to meet customer needs.
• Prepare and process all required paperwork for vehicle sales, financing, and insurance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure all financial and insurance transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as dealership policies and procedures.
• Achieve and exceed individual and dealership sales targets for finance and insurance products.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial and insurance transactions, ensuring documentation is readily accessible for audits and reviews.
• Work closely with the sales team to enhance the overall customer experience and streamline the vehicle purchase process.

• Proven experience as an F&I Manager or in a similar finance role within the automotive industry.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely.
