Job summary

Burlington Kia in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) specialist to help customers arrange financing and present protection products that enhance ownership experience.

You will desk deals, submit to lenders, ensure compliance with laws, and close deals while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Help customers arrange financing for vehicle purchases and present additional products.
• Structure deals for profitability and collectability.
• Fully proficient with title laws and registration processes.
• Maintain required certifications for the position.
• Desk deals, submit to lenders, make credit decisions, and close deals.
• Ensure all deals comply with local, state and federal laws.
• Prepare paperwork, contracts and deliver deals.
• Audit team deals post-sale and ensure expeditious funding of contracts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping our customers arrange the financing of their purchases and presenting them with additional products that enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
• Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability and collectability
• Fully proficient with title laws and registration process
• Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position
• Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
• Ensures all deals are fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines
• Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals
• Accurately audits team deals Post-Sale
• Ensures the expeditious funding of all contracts
