Job summary

Confidential in Dallas, TX is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee all aspects of the company’s financial management, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, technical accounting expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial goals.

You will prepare accurate financial statements, lead close processes, perform variance analyses, and develop reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform financial and variance analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Develop and present financial reports and insights to senior management.
  • Support annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts.
  • Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and best practices.
  • Prepare audit documentation and support internal/external audits.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive performance.

Job description

You will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the company’s strategic financial goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Perform financial and variance analysis to support strategic decision‑making
  • Develop and present financial reports and insights to senior management
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts
  • Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with business objectives
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and best practices
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit documentation
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations
  • Optimize cash management processes and recommend improvements in working capital
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive performance and growth
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Special Projects
  • Participate in and lead key finance projects as needed
Tax & Compliance Support
  • Support sales tax reporting and coordinate with external providers on tax preparation
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting or financial management
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Experience with SAP financial software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
