Job summary

Nova Sky Stories is seeking a Finance Manager who wants to do more than report numbers; you’ll help shape the business behind them. Partnering directly with the CFO and senior leaders, you’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and strategic financial analysis as we scale globally.

This fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment rewards problem solving and clear financial storytelling to guide growth, investments, and operational decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years FP&A, corporate finance, or related finance function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
  • Excellent communication with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve financial models, reporting processes, and planning tools to support company growth.

About This Role

As a Finance Manager, You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Lead the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A) processes.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Build and track key financial and operational metrics, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Prepare executive, board, and shareholder reporting materials with clear financial analysis and business recommendations.

You’ll Need To Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, strategic finance, or a related finance function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience preparing executive‑level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and business partnering skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
It’s a Plus If You Have
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation.
  • Experience supporting high‑growth, venture‑backed, or technology‑driven companies.
  • Experience within entertainment, live events, media, or experiential businesses.
  • Experience with financial planning systems and business intelligence tools.
  • A proactive, hands‑on mindset with a desire to build processes and continuously improve how finance supports the business.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and adapting as business priorities evolve.

Salary Range: $130,000 – $155,000 USD
