Job Title: Finance Management - Senior

Location: BUFFALO, NY, United States

Emp. Type: 6+ Months Contract

The goal of the Regulatory Reporting Implementation Lead (RRAI) is to establish an efficient and integrated industry best practices business solution for Corporate Regulatory Reporting aligned with and leveraging the overall Finance Business Architecture and Enterprise Data Roadmap.

RRAI is a rules driven solution will produce regulatory filings based upon contract details from GENESIS with a seamless a transparent linkage to underlying contract level source data drill-back from filing amount to the relevant supporting details, replacing the current approach in whereby individual reporting units provide balances for filings.

The analyst selected will be dedicated to help implement / adopt the RRAI technology and process. Subsequent to adoption this resource will assist with change control, training and platform support. This person will often work across functions to understand current reporting and to validate / explain the new RRAI results with Corporate, Finance, and Preparers. As necessary, the Analyst will also assist Operations and the Business to identify and acquire needed data to improve accuracy in the results.

Responsibilities for the Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Support Controllers Department with requirement implementation, data acquisition, explanation of rules logic and status communication.
  • Liaise with regional adoption resources, identify issues, manage remediation of issues, communicate status / progress.
  • Production support - log issues / questions / triage for regions where adoption is complete.
  • Coordinate with data standards, data quality, and data modeling teams to ensure that remediation items are proceeding as scheduled.
  • Highlight and develop resolution plan for identifying and monitoring data and reporting issues.
  • Ensuring accuracy of report data and interpretation.
  • Performing and coordinating business/ product/ LE analysis to validate report data.
  • Requirements Analysis- changes to forms, reporting metrics, rules, edit and quality checks.
  • Validate USRRI rules standard interpretation using product attribute matrix and decision trees.
