Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Nashville is seeking a Finance Manager to own critical functions within the Middle Mile organization. You will partner cross-functionally to enable informed decision making, drive cost savings, and sustain process improvements across Sort Center and Surface Transportation networks.

You will build and maintain complex financial models, deliver weekly and monthly closes, forecasts, and budget allocations, and provide financial insights to senior leaders to improve

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 4+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
• 4+ years creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• 4+ years identifying and executing opportunities to improve finance tools and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or 5+ years in a quantitative role.
• Experience with advanced SQL for data mining and BI.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly and monthly reports with clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting and consolidations.
• Provide financial support to business partners on initiatives to improve deliveries and reduce costs.
• Root-cause analysis to uncover issues and guide data analytics to improve data quality.
