About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance to lead our manufacturing and supply chain finance functions. Reporting to the CFO, you will establish the financial infrastructure and processes to support our expanding manufacturing footprint and complex supply chain. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a team, implement best practices, and enhance financial performance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Finance team by recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing professionals.
  • Develop and implement FP&A frameworks, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing and supply chain costs.
  • Oversee BOM costing, analyze cost drivers, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Establish overhead allocation methodologies, monitor spending, and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with operations and engineering to analyze production processes and recommend improvements.
  • Develop inventory management policies and procedures for valuation and obsolescence control.
  • Collaborate with procurement to analyze supplier costs and optimize supply chain finance.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and provide financial justifications.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and KPIs for management review.
  • Maintain internal controls over manufacturing and supply chain financial processes.
  • Participate in selecting and implementing ERP and financial systems.
  • Serve as a strategic financial partner to operations, engineering, and supply chain leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with focus on manufacturing and supply chain finance.
  • Experience building and leading finance teams.
  • Deep knowledge of BOM costing, overhead allocation, and production finance principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Understanding of internal controls and compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
