Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond luxury property, is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to join its leadership team. The role oversees all hotel financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting for a 170-room property with multiple outlets.

You will partner with senior leadership to optimize profitability, manage depreciation schedules, and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience directing financial operations for a luxury property.
• Ability to develop annual plans, budgets, depreciation schedules, and cost controls.
• Strong grasp of internal controls, audits, and financial policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial operations including AR, Credit, and Night Audit.
• Lead monthly financial statement preparation and accuracy checks.
• Provide insights by reviewing performance and recommending actions to leadership.
• Oversee cash handling and payroll review for accuracy and compliance.
• Coach and develop finance team, conducting evaluations and training.
• Support strategy execution to optimize profitability and efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
